Finished: Custom Blue Knit Headband & Flower

November 27, 2013

Happy Thanksgiving Eve, friends and followers!  I'm popping in today to share with you another one of my knitted headbands that I completed and shipped out earlier this week.

As you know, I mention time and time again that although I love making these, I do get tired of the same colors everyone chooses.  I know I shouldn't complain - an order is an order, right?  But I'm a firm believer that if you don't keep work interesting, it just becomes a chore.  And who likes chores?

So it was a fun change of pace to make a headband in this beautiful blue color by Caron Simply Soft.  It's bright, but more on the neutral side so that it can coordinate with any color coat.  I love it.

Want to knit one of your own headbands?  Then check out my free pattern, available here on my blog.

Next up on the list?  Knitting two more headbands for orders (in white and black - the white one is almost done, but of course I'll have to wait until Black Friday to ship) and stuffing myself full of turkey and all the fixin's.

Safe travels, everyone, and I'll see you on the flip side of Thanksgiving :)
