🧦 Vlogtober 2025 Finale | Sockoween Socks + Halloween Wrap-Up 🎃✨

SHOW NOTES

It’s the grand finale of Vlogtober 2025! 🕯️ In this episode, I’m finishing up my Sockoween Socks for the Bakery Bears annual KAL — the Spookykooky Socks by Kay Jones, which I converted for fingering-weight yarn and paired with the Nutcracker cuff pattern. This project has been my cozy companion all month long, joining me everywhere from Oktoberfest to Rhinebeck! 🍂🧶

I’ll share how the socks turned out, reflect on a month full of fall fun and crafty adventures, and close out the series as we head off to hand out candy in our Halloween costumes. 🎃💀

Thank you for joining me throughout Vlogtober — it’s been such a joy to share the season with you! I’ll see you soon on the Beer Knits Podcast and for Vlogmas! ❤️✨

👻 Vlogtober 2025 | A Haunted Autumn Detour to Sleepy Hollow

SHOW NOTES

After wrapping up an unforgettable weekend at the New York Sheep & Wool Festival, we checked out of our cozy Airbnb and took the scenic drive to Sleepy Hollow for one last fall adventure.

Join us as we explore the Old Dutch Church and Cemetery, pay our respects to Washington Irving, cross the legendary Headless Horseman Bridge, and visit the striking Headless Horseman statue. We ended the day with a peaceful walk to the romantic wooden bridge — a little less picturesque this season thanks to festival construction, but still beautiful all the same.

Even with a few detours, Sleepy Hollow was the perfect moody finale to our Rhinebeck trip — full of history, color, and cozy autumn charm.

👻 Thanks for watching!

New York Sheep & Wool 2025 | Rhinebeck Weekend Finale + Cozy Sunday Vibes 🐑🧶

SHOW NOTES

It’s finally here — the grand finale of my Rhinebeck 2025 weekend! 🧣✨

Join me for two full days at New York Sheep & Wool, the ultimate celebration of fiber, friends, and fall in the Hudson Valley. After all the pre-festival fun at CAKEpalooza, Indie Untangled, and A Woolen Affair, it’s time to experience the main event.

We kick things off at the infamous bridge, explore the festival grounds, and take in all the woolly sights — from the animal barns and Pawstars Canine Frisbee Team 🐕 to the food building, competitions, and the unforgettable sheep herding demo. You’ll see yarn, friends, and a few emotional moments (yes, there were tears during the dog show 🥹).

After the crowds of Saturday, Sunday brings calm skies, lighter lines, and time to actually shop, knit, and reflect on the weekend. We also wind down with brewery stops at Plan Bee Farm Brewery, Suarez Family Brewery, and a surprise visit to Lasting Joy Brewery, before ending the weekend full-circle back at Yarn Farm Kingston — where I somehow found myself knitting beside Lisa of Indie Untangled fame, and Kim of Newburgh Yarn Co.

It was the perfect way to close out an unforgettable Rhinebeck weekend. 💕
